The location offers fine views across the water. The dining options, especially the fine dining experience, provide delicious flavors, even if a bit pricey.
The spa facilities left a lot to be desired, particularly with the jacuzzi out of order on my visit. Breakfast service was lacking. It was a hassle to catch the waiter for basic needs like coffee or ordering food. Additional charges for food and drinks can quickly pile up.

Excellent warm welcom. Generally good food. Fantastic location and excellent customer service
During our meal i explained one of the dishes was not as it should have been. No response came back from the kitchen or waitress and no apology or compensation was offered. This was very poor but was the only 1 aspect of poor service during our entire stay.

The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. It was clean and had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The swimming pool and changing rooms were very clean and spa-like. We were staying as we were at a wedding nearby and only wished we could of spent more time there. All the staff from reception to bar staff were very friendly and nothing was too much, in fact I cant remember the last time we have experienced good customer service. I will definately be back later in the year for a spa break.
Cant find anything negative to say at all.

Spotless, new-fashioned room, free Wi-Fi. Exceptionally comfortable bed & great position just next door to the restaurant and the bar as well as the most beautiful areas Britain.
Not so helpful staff!

We loved the swimming pool which was a decent size with sauna, stem room and jacuzzi. We loved the view across the lake. Our toddler loved feeding the ducks at the "official duck feeding" sessions. We liked the steam train station boat pier and aquarium just across the car park. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the large conservatory when it rained, but plenty to do nearby if it does rain.
No fridge in room and room a bit on the small side. Menu for the bar was laid out in a strange way but you could work your way around it. They charge an extra £30 a night for a child over two, which we thought was a bit steep, luckily it didn't apply to us.

We loved the evening at the pool and took a boat trip on Windermere Lake. The views are fine and the vibe is super chill. Just a heads up, the hotel can get busy, so reserving meals in advance is smart. Definitely try the local food spots nearby for variety.

Beautiful environment and friendly staffs. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very nice and child-friendly. The swimming pool was also very good.
It is very close to the boat stop, so it is convenient during the daytime to go sightseeing. But the boat runs only during the daytime, so if you are staying without your car, there would be no public transport at night time to the hotel, unless you take taxi. But other than that, it is really a lovely hotel to stay.

That Booked.net charged full double occupancy on a single using a double room.Breakfast was £18=50 and included in the rate therefore to charge that amount less for single occupancy should be reflected in the single rate price, as a minimum !
